It is hard not to parise our kids for the things they do, but I recently read that praise should be responsible, as telling a boy/girl that they are smart, might have negative consequences, as these kids will fear for failure, as they have been programmed to always be good..always be smart.
It seems liek those kids that are praised for just triying, perform much better and ebcome risk takers.
My question is, any ideas on how to correctly praise our kids without giving them the impresion that they are the best and they can't fail?

On kids watching what on t.v.
My wife's friend's son is IN LOVE with these characters called "The Wiggles" four men that might remind you of The Beatles, or some sort of start trek show.
I just signed up for NETFLIX, and was driven by curiosity to watch them(The wiggles), and they seemed fine for a baby to watch, but I don't know if they might have some sort of negative impact on his development, (weird stuff like TV addiction, become a wiggle merchandise lover, etc)
Can somebody share their thoughts about them?
